I have been a patient of Marc Avram , MD, since 2023. He is an outstanding dermatologist in every way. He has been treating me for a very severe hair thinning and loss which I suffered as a result of a very serious surgery and hospitalization. I have been treated with platelet-rich plasma which is injected into my scalp. The treatment has been a spectacular success. My hair has grown back, thick and full as if nothing had ever happened. Dr. Avram is highly knowledgeable about all methods of treating hair thinning and loss. He correctly advised me about which method was best for my condition. He patiently answered all my questions. He avoided promising results before the injections had begun. He has gone out of his way to minimize the discomfort I feel when I get the injections in my scalp. Everyone in the office is kind and patient. The office is beautiful and I feel happy and secure when I go to my appointments. I am confident that no dermatologist in New York could have done a better job with my hair thinning and loss. The treatments are expensive but they are worth the price. The injections caused me pain even when I am perfectly prepared for them. I am sensitive so most people would probably tolerate the injections well.

Dr Avram is an incredible Doctor and is not only very capable but makes one feel so comfortable. He takes him time with you and explains things very well. You do not feel rushed in the least. His staff is also amazing! I will highly recommend him to anyone! I’m so happy I found him

Highly recommend. Had an excellent experience before and during the procedure. In addition to being talented, the team has the best bedside manner. I felt comfortable the entire time. They even called later in the day after the surgery to check on me.

His manner is welcoming and calming, as is that of his staff. He listened carefully, synthesized my relevant medical history and my observations of progressive hair thinning, and provided a diagnosis and options for treatment.
