Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is an FDA approved treatment for male and female pattern hair loss. The attached paper in a leading dermatology journal demonstrates it may be an effective treatment for scarring hair loss conditions such as lichen planopilaris. This is a significant development of a new and safe treatment.
