Moderna and Merck show progress toward cancer vaccines

Another exciting development in the treatment of metastatic cancer.  In this study, a combination of a melanoma vaccine and immunotherapy clearly increased long-term survival of patients.  This initial study must be replicated and done in a larger population group to confirm its efficacy and safety.
